Children should never be introduced to the idea of trans anything. They are children, little boys, and little girls. No hormone blocker should be administered, no double mastectomies, no hormone replacements, no anything. Get the hell away from the children. Stop sexualizing and confusing them. Quit with the ridiculous argument that children know who they really are, because they don’t. Did you? Or were you like me, pretending to be a refrigerator, a chair, a dinosaur, a dog? Or maybe you pretended to be your sibling or one of your parents. Children have wild imaginations. They can even be incredibly convincing. At 5 years old I convinced my teacher to let me walk home by myself, something that still upsets my parents to this day.

Children are very impressionable. A parent, teacher, family friend, even a stranger can plant the seed of doubt and curiosity into a child’s mind. It’s not difficult to convince a child that they are something or someone else.
