Blackface is unacceptable, right? It is viewed as racist, and widely condemned. What do you think about Mickey Rooney in his ‘Chinese face’? You probably thought that was racist, and as bad as blackface. And yet, you have no issue with womanface.

Being a woman used to be this pretty amazing thing. We were capable of so much. We could wake up looking like Medusa, and by the time we left the house we’d be looking like Aphrodite. We have periods, and deal with pregnancy and birth. We are so incredibly capable, and we used to be so mysterious. But now anyone can be a woman.

I’ve heard men talking about their first periods, I’ve heard them talking about their breasts, and breastfeeding their future children when they become mothers. It’s a slap in the face, and I for one, will not stand idly by and watch my gender be erased. Too many of you are doing just that. You are part of the problem, and I’ll tell you how in the next part.
