Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there, but most especially to mine.

My mother had her hands full with me. I took her for granted, and said some truly awful things to her, that she never deserved. Never did she reciprocate the venomous words I yelled, never did she show me anything but love and patience. My mother never gave up on me, she fought for me, and fiercely prayed for me. My mother is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known, inside and out. She is a blessing to me, and to all who know her.

My mother lights up every room she is in, she is warm, welcoming, and kind. My mother is a gracious person. She is wise, modest, empathetic, patient, and incredibly funny . I love her dearly, and I thank God for her.
