Love is more than just a wonderful feeling and emotion. It’s so much more than butterflies in your stomach, goosebumps all over your body, and that twitterpated look on your face. Love is work.

I’ve decided to do a series on love, using 1 Corinthians 13 as my guide. This will be all about what love truly is, without the fanfare and poetry. I will include my personal stories and experiences.

My hope for this is that you will learn something that could help you not be like me. I wasted so much of my life having a twisted view on love. I went after the wrong people, stayed in abusive relationships, and expected the impossible. While I’m still learning, and still growing, my views on love are much more realistic, and I find myself feeling more content and fulfilled. Hopefully, you will too.
