Get yourself a woman who puts God first. Above herself, and above even you. He is the Creator of everything, and belongs in our #1 spot. When He is first, everything else falls into place. A woman who puts God first is a woman who wants to continue growing, and bettering herself. It’s a woman who has values, and morals. She will want to grow with you. She will value what you bring to the relationship. She will value you.

Get yourself a woman who won’t talk negatively about you, in public, to her friends, anywhere. If your woman trashes you, she doesn’t value you. My husband can trust that I won’t complain about him to others. I also won’t sit idly by while others trash talk him. I build him up, and your partner should do that, too. My husband and I aren’t just a team, we are one. You want a woman who views you as one, as well. 

Get yourself a woman who isn’t just words. Yes, hearing her say, ‘I love you’ can be amazing, but without the actions to show it, they ring hollow. How does she show you that she loves you? When she sees that you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, does she step in to lighten your burdens? Is she there for you? Not just in your good moments, but your bad and your down moments, as well. Does she pray for you?
