To Sleep or Not To Sleep

Sleep is not something I do well. My mind likes to run marathons, take unwanted walks through memory lane, and my body seems to have an aversion to relaxing. Sleep, for me, is chaotic, and unsatisfying, but I was used to my kind of sleep. A few weeks ago, my sleep got worse. I would wake up feeling like I had just managed to get to sleep. I felt more irritable, forgetful, and exhausted. I tried sleepy teas, and melatonin, but they either had no effect or made me feel worse. Finally, with the help of three wonderful people, I was directed to a supplement that could help. After three nights of taking it, I can tell you that I’m thrilled. I’m sleeping, solidly, and beautifully.

Between my sleep issues, and a major project I’m working on for my parent’s anniversary, I have been neglectful of my writing. I am very sorry for that. I am working on my close for our Terms and Conditions series, and I hope to have that up by the end of this weekend.

My writing will be a little slower for the next few weeks as I get caught up on housework, and work as much as possible on finishing this project for my parents. I do spend some time, though admittedly it’s less than normal, on X, so if you need or want to reach out for any reason, I am there and will get back to you.

Thank you for being patient and understanding with me.
